May The Lord release in you a fresh outpouring of faith and expectancy. May He surprise you with a word of encouragement and an answer to prayer. May He redeem something lost and renew your perspective. When you're tempted to worry may you worship instead. God is more involved in your life than you can possibly know. We are called by God to trust Him, and Him alone, to meet our needs and to be our total source of supply. Furthermore, God requires that we obey Him as a part of our trusting Him. We have the situation completely backwards anytime we start expecting God to trust us to know what is right and to obey our commands so that He might prove His love for us. Our position is one of standing before God, declaring, "I trust You completely to meet my needs in Your timing and according to Your methods."

Heavenly Father, let us lie down tonight with a clear mind, a mind centered on You, a mind centered on Your Word, a mind centered on our many blessings. When the enemy tries to remind us of our problems and mentally oppress us, help us to stand firm in faith. Jesus, we love You, we worship You, we praise You, and we thank You for all that You have done and for all that You will do. These things we ask in Your name. Amen
