Many believers do not understand the vast riches they already possess in Jesus Christ, an infinite treasury of wisdom and knowledge and all good things. The moment you accept Him as your Savior you receive everything God is, everything God does, and everything God provides. You lack nothing. God's immeasurable, overflowing love and power are available to you by His grace for every trail, every decision, every challenge.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (2 Peter 1:3 KJV)

Left to our own devices, we tend to lie to ourselves--we deceive ourselves into hearing what we want to hear, doing what is pleasing to our senses, and pursuing what makes us feel happy. When we seek to live according to God's wisdom, we are saying to our emotions: "I walk by faith, not by sight. I will not base every decision on the way that I feel.....I will walk by what the Word of God says. I am going to trust the Holy Spirit to guide me."

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) (Hebrews 10:23 KJV)

For me....this is a lesson I am learning...I tend to let my emotions get the best of Me...but when one recognizes God's hand in our daily lives, then the Holy Spirit has the latitude to work in our lives and help mold us into the person he wants us to be, by bringing clarity and an unwavering Faith to our daily walk with him. By Trusting God, and not ourselves, we can begin to submit to his will and know that his plan is bigger than our plans for our lives.  We can be confident that he will keep his promises and that he is faithful.
